Yarn will always have a label on it like this one, and it tells you not only what size knitting needle or crochet hook to use, but also if the yarn is safe to machine wash or iron and what size the yarn is.
As you all know, it is the last Saturday of September, which means there will be no more Saturday Perler Bead posts. I will miss posting my lame bead ideas, but starting next Saturday will be Halloween October! It will be extremely exciting! Every Saturday next month I will post craft ideas to make the holiday a more enjoyable experience!
Do you guys remember last year when a random man-knitter was transformed into a DC hero on Tumblr? Because I do.
It all started with this post with the description "Yes I am a boy. Yes I knit things". And then someone commented "Someone should make him into a DC character", and thus the Knitter was born.
And then came the wave of fan art that turned this average man-knitter into one of the best fan-created superheros of all time
Spray painting canvases is extremely easy. To make cool designs and create contrasting colors all you need is: -Spray Paint of your choice -Painter's Tape -String or Yarn
To create something like the painting to the right, all you have to do is spray paint the canvas a solid color (I used gold), wait for the paint to dry, wrap yarn or string around the canvas and tap the ends to the back, then spray paint the canvas in an ombre pattern. Once the paint is dry, take off the yarn or string.
These were made using painter's tape, but the one in the middle was made by my mother and she did some different, crazy stuff. The point of posting that is to show that you can be creative with it. I encourage you to create your own designs and think of your own craziness to paint.
